Overview
These Terms of Use govern the use of 24 Block.
24 Block is a visual time-block planning app designed to help users organise their day. By using the app, the user agrees to these terms.
These terms are written to reflect the current launch behaviour of the app in this repository. They should be reviewed and finalised before public release.
Use of the App
24 Block is provided for personal productivity and planning use.
At launch, the app is intended to work without an account and without paid subscriptions. Users are responsible for how they use the app and for the accuracy of any schedules, notes, or plans they create.
Licence
24 Block grants the user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms and any applicable app-store rules.
The app, branding, design, code, and related materials remain the property of their respective owner unless clearly stated otherwise.
Acceptable Use
Users must not:
- misuse, interfere with, or disrupt the app
- attempt to reverse engineer, copy, resell, or exploit the app except where the law clearly allows it
- use the app in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others
- use the app to transmit harmful code or abusive content through any future sharing, feedback, or connected features
User Content and Responsibility
Any schedules, notes, routine definitions, or other content entered into 24 Block remain the user's responsibility.
At launch, the app stores planning data locally on the user's device. The app does not review, moderate, or verify that content.
Users should keep their own backups and should not rely on the app as the sole place to store critical information.
Privacy
Use of the app is also subject to the Privacy Policy:
That policy explains how the app currently stores data, what it does not collect at launch, and how user-initiated sharing or external actions work.
Third-Party Services and Platforms
24 Block may rely on third-party platforms or operating-system features such as Apple App Store, Google Play, device backups, email apps, share sheets, live activities, or external links.
Those third parties operate under their own terms, policies, and technical limits. 24 Block is not responsible for third-party services that the user chooses to access through or alongside the app.
Availability and Changes
24 Block may change, improve, suspend, or remove features over time.
Future releases may add optional paid features, accounts, sync, integrations, or other services. If that happens, additional terms or updated terms may apply before those features are released.
No Warranty
24 Block is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent allowed by law.
While the product is developed with care, no guarantee is given that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, 24 Block and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary losses arising from use of the app.
Users remain responsible for how they plan, act on, interpret, or rely on information entered into the app.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending Use
Users may stop using 24 Block at any time.
If the app is uninstalled, some local data may still remain in operating-system backups depending on device settings and platform behaviour.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated as the product changes. If material changes are made, the published version should be updated before those changes take effect in release builds.
